This is a picture of my father (last on right) working as a mechanic in a Nash Dealership garage but I can't date it. I don't know when Sun-Machines came out but that seems to be the main reason for the pic.

Well love the pic, and I've got the top half of the Sun Machine, don't have the cabinet, Date tag on mine is Oct 1938, got the small meter on hood cowel also. The auto is a 1938 Dodge. Hope this helps you sorta date this. Best Regards, Kerry

Thanks Kerry, I knew someone would have the answer......My sister has a Complete Sun Scope in Her garage that her husband left after he passed on......has to be from the 70's, are these worth anything? Just curiosity................

Sorry don't know, but I'd have to say surely. They would go good in somebodies man cave. I've had mine for over 30years, got them cleaning up an old garage in ST. Joe, Mo. Thought they were neat them, now they go good with my Vintage Autos.

It looks to me to be from the late 30s or early 40s

Regroup ! I just discovered that my father didn't start working on aircraft until 1950........I know that he and my Mother come to Columbus in 1939 so that's a pretty big time window for this picture.....
