This is 14-3/4" tall and about 8-1/2" across. The pattern is repeated so you see the 1st and 2nd images twice on the vase as you turn it. There is a red ring under the rim and at the bottom.
That's all I know FOR A FACT other than the pictures.
It's not a flamingo, they have an hooked bill.
It's not a Red-Crowned crane, they have a red crane.
Cannot find the bottom stamp on Gotheborg and a Google image search told me it's most likely a vase. Haha & LOL.

I really appreciate any and all suggestions or clues.
    Thanks for looking!!

It does have a really beautiful pattern on it. I wish I could be of help to you, but not my area of expertise.

Thanks for the comment and love Scott. I really think somebody got crafty and painted some if not all of this vase. :(
It was a lunch hour grab and run. Didn't have much time to look but it leaves me feeling like there is an itch I can't scratch.

i think that the crane depicted is a Demoiselle Crane from Asia.

i read that there are only 15 crane species in the world, which really surprised me. i love cranes!

Thank you ho2 for the info and love. I looked at them and I guess it could be. That is some great info and if there are only 15 I should be able to find it. ;);)
Thanks for the loves: Nevada and Mani.

So, I've been looking around and I think I have the mark posted upside down. You are supposed to draw a line between the 3 rows to tell you the dynasty, maker and time frame. Still can't identify it.
Feel free to take pity on me anytime now and tell me what it says........

dear audience stick to the questions !!

it is signed da ging qianlong nian zhi in an very sloppy way
its origen is or macao or hong kong
the dating is the peoples republic of china period , lets 1960 and on

is it an overpaint , could be , but you are probably to harsh on your self , morer likely the difference of brushing so called inside it versus outside in

what used to be complete rubbish , this is surprising well for hongkong or macao ware , so no sweat well done
