1000 hours of etching genius

This is an amazing etching by John Taylor Arms, one of the greatest of all time. The title is In Memorium' and of the 450 etchings he produced he considered it his favorite. He spent more than 1000 hours on it and dedicated it to his mother. the detail is beyond what the human eye can easily resolve as it was done under magnification with a fine sewing needle. I examined it under a microscope and have posted a detail of it. The etched lines are typically about 20 microns thick with some only 6 microns. This is practically a cellular level of detail!
