was told by the seller of good reference that these were sold as sets. im inclined to believe him. he didn't ask much... 5 bucks a pc... I offered him 4 bucks a pc if I buy all of them. done deal... they are in mint condition. not quite vintage yet, although, ive seen them listed as 1950s-60s knives... that's only the yrs of the films, not the knife. they are clearly dated on the btm reverse edge. copy written by the novelty knife co. as the riders of the silver screen cowboy barlow series.
they are very solid and made in the usa. prices on ebay are all over the place on these knives. ive seen none for 4 bucks
Very Cool. Great Find.
Great knives & a great find, you lucky dawg! [;>)
thanks guys.. the fella at the flea market told me there was a 4th set made of hopalong Cassidy. hed sold it already.
I think they are interesting.
Hey whyatt, nice group and very good price. I have a Roy Rogers knife, a little different in the knives, knives...post I did, it's in with the advertising knives pic.
ive recently been looking to add to this collection. ive seen these same knives stamped china. its a subject ive been able to learn very little about. be careful when or if you buy any of them. there are china made replicas dated the same way.
