Here's a nice Quezal Art Glass cabinet vase/bowl that I rescued from the Concord, Ca. Flea Market in November of 2014, it cost me dearly, $3. to save it from the asphalt ground that the seller had it setting on! :^) What a great little piece of art glass it is, I almost jumped on it to keep another person from kicking with their shoe.
The vase is 3" across the top, 1 5/8" high, and 1 1/2" across the base. The gold iridescent glass is etched marked Quezal on the bottom. It may have been a master salt bowl.
Quezal glass was open from 1901 to 1924 in Queens, New York, by Martin Bach, Sr.
Quezal Art Glass is similar to the other art glass companies of the time, like, Tiffany, Steuben, and Loetz.
Wow Bill... a piece of Quezal for $3.00! Fantastic find!
Thanks Rick55, I know, and very lucky to save it from disaster, on the asphalt it was sitting on.
