This is a coverlet my husband Richard crocheted. It will be given to our only son . He has grown to appreciate his dads unusual hobby. I have some awesome vintage patterns I love to flip though especially the 60's funky knit and crochet patterns. Amazing how people used to use their precious time . Certainly they did waste it. My mother inlaw is a top notch hooker and has crocheted an infinite amount of very fine doilies throws , waxed baskets and literally hundreds of snowflake ornaments! Which I am the proud owner of!

He taught me how to crochet! His huntin buddies razz him but secretly they are jealous:) Its curious to think of our items today becoming antiques. Just had to post Thanks !

Great ability, not to be put down, but don't let him take the needles to an airport, he may be arrested if the officers think he is going to knit an Afghan !~

Oh my!:) thanks for the loves PhilDMorris. So unlike my husband to do this sort of thing. Hunter gatherer type. Took a spill shoveling our Mi yucky white stuff and was off work . I came home and he tossed a crocheted pot holder at me and he hasnt stopped! His rugs are very plush and beautiful and I'm quite jealous to be honest!

I love how this work drapes the table perfectly, he must have made it special to give this table an almost far eastern look. The use of the fringes is what really makes this table perfect ! I hope his work continues to develop !~

Forgot to mention how I appreciate your cover picture also. That rug is killer, very envious !

My profile pic is actually my 1st and to date ONLY rug i've made! I' m swimming in yarns hoping to do more . These can be used either for floor or tables but not both please! Fringe fringe fringe definitly makes these unique .I'm happy to hear that you can appreciate the time and talent that he puts into his throws. People seem to want only prefab things now a days . Nothing with substance. Thank u all for the LOVES!
