Speaker made for EREF Electronics of Scandinavia. I really do not know much else about it. I've been told it looks like the grundig speakers of the 1970s, but I have never heard of EREF? Any information on it would be fantastic!

I had a lot to do with EREF in Norway many years ago. They was wholesalers and did buy electronics from different sources. One of my companies did deliver different speakers to them, but they was wooden. I can barely remember the speakers on the picture in stock for a limited time. As the eight track players became popular, but only for 12 volt cars, I made a voltage converter from 6 to 12 volts in an aluminium casing with brown endings. At the same time I made 2 litre small high efficiency pressure camber speakers for cars and those players.

Thank you for your response, Yes it seams like EREF imported these speakers from a radio shack source and changed out the base plate? I bought it in Sweden BTW

They are very similar to my set which I bought in 1974-5, the whole set was very space age I thought back then. Not usually the best electronics quality, esp ones that had the eight track player. Most people usually got rid of them when they could buy a better sounding set.
