It is said that imitation is a sincere form of flattery. If that is true, Kralik and other makers certainly flattered Loetz a hundred years ago. This beautiful little vase by Kralik is a good example of that concept. It stands about 6 inches tall and is about 4 inches in diameter at the widest. The base glass is an opalescent green with darker green oil spot décor. The pontil is nicely finished and the polished rim is worked with three pinched and folded lobes. The surface has a touch of gold colored iridescence. I bought this many years ago from my friend LoetzDance and I have enjoyed it immensely!
Thanks to everybody for taking a look! Cheers, Bob
