I am currently traveling in Tulsa, OK and purchased this brooch at Admiral Flea Market. It is a rather thin, dainty filigree brooch. Approximately 2 x 2 1/2 inches. The clasp is a basic C clasp of which the pin is slightly bent. I see no identification mark. I do think it is rather old as there are a couple spots of green corrosion that are not too noticeable. Can anyone help me identify this piece?
It could have been made in a number of countries: Egypt, Portugal, Malta, Austria, Italy, etc. Google "filigree butterfly brooch" and you'll probably find a match.
Thank you Dave. There are several on line that are very similiar but not quite the same.
