    Friend of mine interested in learning a bit more about his table. Anywone have ideas? Age? Function? It had one drawer. His mom gave him table as gift.

      Looks like an American Empire table, mid 19th century. Veneers are typical.

      Photos of the drawer sides and joint and the bottom of the table would be helpful in confirming age (or show it is more modern).
