Sometimes they do not them like they did in the good old days and this is one. These were made starting in the 1970s according to a reliable source and are still made today. As they are about $25 these are not your usual stapler.
Aside from being ergonomic and being well made they are quite solid. Worthy of being a zombie apocalypse weapon.
There is an earlier version with scalloped edges along the top. It would be nice to find one of those.
Thank you

"The good old days" products were much better.
A head basher, for sure! [;>)))
Thank you very much Efesgirl. A statement with which I agree.

Thank you SEAN68.
Thank you packrat-place.
Thank you americanstationer.
The Aceliner is a very nice fastener. I collect antique and vintage fasteners, yet, you will still find a few of these on display in my collection.
Thank you very much Mystaplers. This is my go to stapler now. I keep it right here on my desk.
The scalloped edge variety has been around since atleast 7/14/1973 due to the fact that I just purchase one with that date written upon it. 3 months older than my hubby!
This is the 2nd aceliner I've had the opportunity to cherish, I left my previous one at a past employers office as they were in dire need of a good stapler. My other go-to favorite is the acco 20, which I've bought multiples for both my boss and a co-worker. They're quality stapler converts!!
Thank you very much carolinahomes. It is a fine stapler.
I have the Ace Liner 502 model with the scalloped edges along the top. I had no idea it was considered an "antique" office product until I tried to find staples for it and stumbled across this site! I'm just looking for refills so I can use my dad's stapler on my desk. He recently passed away and when cleaning out his desk I had no idea I was throwing away anything but standard staples. Kicking myself now for sure!
