Hi, please would you have a look at this beautiful scroll painting I have just acquired from a private sale, no one new the artist or recognised the signature/seal, would it be possible that someone out there could unlock the key to the artist that produced this stunning piece of art, I would be eternally grateful if you could assist. For information, the piece is painted on handmade paper in watercolour placed upon silk paper, the size of the painting is 70cm x 90cm thank you for looking

Hi everyone, I took this along with my Qianlong box to Bonhams auction house, they told me it was by a student of Qi Baishi the students name is Chen Dayu as you quite rightly stated fleafinder - such a clever boy, well done.
If you were to look at both artist work you will see the similarities. Cheers from UK

did Bonhams know this for sure or did they attributed it, ( only one seal !)
well at least it is very high quality , you have to ask if they quanrantee this, when it is real instead of attributed, its an awfull lot of money because it aint a G?ngj? scenescene
advice , PRETEND !! a sale at Bonhams and asked a reserve, see what they advici , it seems genuine to me but it is strange
