An unusual Loetz Fuxit (Aventurin mit blau) vase. Colorless glass ground with light blue streaks and a green glass underlay fused with mica powder. Ovoid form. 6.5" tall. 2.5 "across base. 4.5" across widest width. Fire polished rim with a ground and polished pontil. PN unknown. Circa 1903.

The shape seems to be very plain for Loetz, yet it helps to really show off the decor. The light coming through that thin glass is so beautiful.
