HI Folks
Here's the biggest French trunk that I have ever seen,and the biggest dome top as well. 44 inches wide,24 deep and 30 inches high. Reluctantly sold it because it was just too big.

Wow, what an absolute beauty!! You're right, this does resemble my little French trunk. I must say, I would have had a hard time letting this one go. A true vision of beauty my friend!!
This is fabulous -- and too funny because I have the exact same one (big too) -- only mine was covered with a drab brown canvas that i took off -- i took it off my site because I was going to sell it but ended up not -- the canvas on this is stunning as well as the interior -- just FAB!
Well not exactly the same -- turns out it was still posted -- but so similar it may well have been the same maker. (just put it up for comparison) Yours have the beautiful side slats and rivets -- still can't get over the canvas on this...
Trunkman,just took a look at your huge French trunk.Is it 44 inches long as well? ,sure looks like it. Took a look at all your trunks,sure is an impressive collection. Do you still own all of them? I have well over a 100,lost track some time ago,most are in storage waiting to be restored. Glad to see I'm not the only one with uncontrollable urges to keep buying. I guess the thing I love the most is every one of them are different.

Hey bjb -- just took the measurement -- actually 39'' wide so your 44'' is quite the impressive expanse of trunk. I own mostly all of the trunks on my site or have given them to a family member. There are a few that I have that are not listed, totally lost track of how many I have as it tends to fluctuate. I have had to sell some real beauties which I was sorry to see go so I tend to take them off my listings. Over 100 you say?? -- wow... must be hard to choose which one to do next. Well your quality of refinish is superb -- I do my best but just don't have that perfectionist finish... which is fine, that's a part of my character.
