    Remember arriving home from work on a Friday at about 5pm and watching it live on BBC one, was 19 then, no colour tv then , 3 channels then, bbc 1 and BBC 2 and itv. 116 were killed when a coal tip slid down a mountain side after weeks of heavy rain and demolished a School and some terraced house, book ' events of the 1960s' published in 1991.

      Thanks all for loves and comments- at that time I was working on the post office telephone service as trannie telephone engineer earning £14 a week.
