This is meant to take along with you to work on while waiting somewhere, on a drive, etc. Never Used. I don't know the age of it, do you?? Most Star Wars Memorabilia is collectible. I am thnking this is too. Opinions? It has color markers in there for the projects.Still wrapped. There is no writing on it as to where it was made or a c. date. The description on the front is in English and French, which makes me think this may not be made in USA.

What I find most interesting about STAR WARS is how George Lucas came up with the name for R2D2. When he was a film student at USC (University of Southern California), he went to the film library one day to check out a film and the film librarian turned to his assistant and said, "Please pull R2D2 for him, won't you." R2D2 was the file number for the film that Lucas wanted to check out. Lucas thought that would make a great name for a robot in a movie about space war and travel that was still just an idea in his head, that would become the now legendary STAR WARS about a decade later!
