Here's a nice choice VF example of a Henry III long cross silver penny. Obv. - King's head, holding scepter. "Henricus Rex III" - Rev. - Long cross with 3 pellets in each quadrant. Moneyer's name - "Nicole on Lund" - London mint. c. 1216 - 1272 AD.
Henry III is my 23rd great-grandfather, through his son Edmund "Crouchback" Plantagenet - Earl of Lancaster and of Leicester, who was a younger brother of Edward I (Longshanks).
