This table lamp was handed down from an aunt who died at an advanced age over 10 years ago. It has been in the family for many many years. Can anyone help in identifying the origin and/or it's age? It is 36" to top of shade, 20" diameter shade, 7" wide base. The shade has a number of lace panel inserts and gold fringe. The lamp appears to be porcelain and has a number of cut out relief patterns around the gold floral design, and very pronounced rose petals and leaves protruding from it. There are no markings on it to identify the maker. The pedestal base has a green felt bottom. The decor in her living room was French Provincial.
This is an Italian lamp.
Have you checked to see if it's maybe a Compe demonte? And my spelling is likely not correct. It's beautiful! Good luck!
