    Hi CW Gang:

    lol...here is a Blast from the past!! Pocket Radio and this one still works. Gotta love the AVOCADO GREEN color. Hey it is GROOVY!! I like these old radio and still use one here for when the Power goes out. It is my old stand-by. I think I posted that one as that one is a Zenith one.

    This one here is a STRAUSS one, Made in Hong Kong. Awww memories. Now our Phones do everything for us.....LOL

      I remember having to turn radios like this a certain way just to hear the end of a song. Today, Apple music has over 43 million songs on demand. Mind Boggling!

      ~ @ brunswick --> LOL, Remember the big Boom Box radio type of thing you carried on your shoulder? Well I didn't but some people did.....now they just have to carry a phone for weather, music, computer, recording voice, recording video, find maps.......man we had it hard !!!
      ~ @ thatsoretro23 --> LOL, Thanks for the comment. Yes I still have one of those old TUBE radio here that you have to wait for the tubes to warm up before it plays. Nothing was INSTANT back then. They teenagers have No idea what he had to go through....LOL

      Hmmm Rose...even though this post is a couple yrs old, I think the caption in that last 'fun pic' needs an update...all those devices are probably closer to *40* yrs old by now...? <sigh><groan>

      BUT IF its any comfort, I actually own one of those Sony BETAMAX VCRs exactly like the model pictured at center bottom, plus a few NOS Sony blank tapes for it also as shown...? ;-) :-) :-)
