The truck body can come off. The white stuff on the tractor tires is, I believe, melted tire rubber.

I have many of my Dad's medal cars, trucks, yellow cabs, etc from the late teen to the early 20s. I do not have a clue the value and am searching to fine the value. Any suggestions???????

Hi Judy, The best I can do is to tell you what I do and then you decide how to proceed. Google. If you can think of a phrase to describe it...google it. Pre-war tin toys...google it. Any information actually on the item , list verbatim and google it.

Books on toys. Libraries, all the major book stores, antique shops, and usedbook stores. Take pictures and carry them with you.

Post pictures here. You might get lucky and have an expert watching when you post. Besides we'd all love to see them ! Good luck.
