I don't think I have a problem. Well maybe I do. :(
I don't know what it is about TO's they just do something for me. They also have a distinctive smell inside that is different than any other radio.

I just bought a Zenith A600 TransOceanic De Luxe at auction, for my Dad. Seems in great shape: manual, charts, all but battery unit. Doesn't turn on - not plug, or time. Would like to get it working as a gift to him - he was a weatherman in Alaska during the war...and likes radios that get shortwave.
Any ideas on repair. Live in Northern Indiana. Thanks, Jim
