    I got this nice double ink well desk set at the Flea Market in Concord, Ca. a little over a year ago, and found a postage stamp holder, and scissor letter opener set, from 3 different sellers and all less then $5. each, on the same day!

      I believe this is a modern reproduction - I see crosshatch screws on the bottom. There were no crosshatch screws in Victorian times. Still, a nice object for the money.

      LOL, yep you're right Efesgirl, those are Phillips head screws! :^o It's funny I'm always letting people know that about cast toys, and here I am lookin right past them! Sometimes my mind plays tricks on me! ! ! :^)
