Grandma's high-end black leather box purse - Cities Destinations - from the 50's or 60's

I just got this from my mom's closet and I was wondering if you all had any feedback for me. I can't find anything exactly like this anywhere on the web. Got as far as realizing these were called Destinations Cities bags - something like that. My Grandad bought this for her at some high-end NYC store - probably in the 60's or 50's. Any ideas?
