    I acquired this item at a garage sale. I think it is a vintage Swiss Army military mail bag but I haven't seen any posted online quite like it. It is 9" wide and 7" high and 2" deep with an adjustable carrying strap. I like it and intend to keep it but am wondering where and when it was made. I hope that others find it interesting too!

      No idea -- remind me of those leather bag for those Kilt dresser sometimes have, so i do not know?? Just a guess..........................??

      The Thaler was originally an Austrian(Bohemian) silver coin that came close to a universal currency & was minted in a number of countries. (Didn't see Suisse).
