This piece attracted my interest right away - I didn't know (and still don't) who made it, exactly where it comes from, but my sense of it is that it is early 1900s, possibly by a Bavarian maker? The construction of the piece (color notwithstanding) reminds me of the Aspasia line produced by Glasfabrik Schliersee. The outer layer is a matt iridescent apple green, with a yellow green inner casing that glows bright orange under black light. The outer layer glows green. The shape is very unusual. In short, it's just a cool piece that I liked. The who, where, and when are secondary concerns. :) Still, if anyone has anything similar, I would love to see them.
