I had to get this cute honey jug today, paid more than I would because I liked it so much, and so did the seller. We settled on $10., maybe too much, but I'm happy! :^) He gives me good deals often enough.
The Cabin Shaped Honey Jug/Jar says on it with a paper label glued to the roof, OZARK Wild Honey from Aunt Molly's Cupboard on 4 lines, on the other side written under clear glaze on the roof, OLD MATT"S CABIN from Shepherd of the Hills Farm BRANSON, MISSOURI APPROX. ONE POUND on 4 lines, it's 4 1/2" tall with cork in chimney spout, 4" long, 3 1/4" wide, it has no mark on the bottom.
I searched for this a little, and only found one for sell, but they had no info. either. The 2 jugs looked a little different from each other, bottom shape, and wording, maybe older or different manufacture. Anyone know anything about this?
Thanks so much for looking, and all the loves! :^)
That's very loveable indeed! You buy the honey and have a little collectible log cabin to keep after the honey is all gone. A very sweet deal literally.
Yes it would be Kazoonicom, but where's my honey?! :^( LOL The collectible part is great though! :^)
