These were small insulators made for telegraph lines from 1890-1913. This is the style called CD 102 which I believe is also called a Pony.
The color on this is the less common amber/olive.
I took photos under different light conditions. Looks amber with the sun shining through it and greener with less light.
This is the single diamond version making it the Diamond Flint Glass version.
I've definitely never seen an insulator in that color before. Pretty cool!
Thank you very much Scott. SpiritBear has one too.
Thank you very much olebodie I will check that out.

Thank you again olebodie. That is an impressive price for an insulator.
Have not had much time as they are working me a lot.
Thank you SEAN68.
I spent $15 on this one and I thought that was a lot.
Thank you buckethead.
It was only $425 when I checked it.
Thank you ttomtucker.
Yow. That is a sizable amount.
To me it looks dark yellow-amber, which sold recently for $42 and $22 on e-Bay for similar pieces made by Diamond in this CD, but also as low as under $4 (damage?).
These prices do not include shipping.
$15 was a fair market price, as many of these sellers are well-known. On e-Bay, the more you have sold with positive feed-back, and the more you specialise, the higher the prices you get.
