Hi, I just purchased this chest of drawers with marble top at my local thrift shop. I would love to know more about this chest of drawers I do believe it to be French or art deco late 1800s or early 1920's I have never seen one like this with the drawers all the way to the floor The center drawer is actually a pulldown door when open the inside is Plainwood but I believe there was originally a porcelain or marble lining that went all around the four sides The top of this chest of drawer marble I believe the chest of drawers is walnut or possibly mahogany veneer I took pictures of the Dovetail in hopes someone can date it by the dovetail also the latch attached to the center door has a name or maker name of the latch maker sorry don't have pictures of the latch name to hard to read any more info on this beatufull chest of drawers would be gladly appropriate thank you all for reading.
I believe this piece is an Old Barbers cabinet. :)
