This is one of the made to order cameo pieces delivered by Loetz to its Paris representative, J. Jouve. Pieces signed in cameo "Richard" were made for customer Edmong Etling, whose boutique was just down the Rue de Paradis from Jouve.
This vase stands 16 cm tall. The ground color is camelienrot, and the outer layer which has been acid carved, is braun (brown). In perfect condition, this was a weekend flea market find.
