Ye Zhongsan was very prolific and supposedly there are a lot of bottles of his out there to be had - and because of their abundance they used to be fairly affordable. Haha It doesn't seen that way anymore!
I love this artists work and so I've really been on the hunt for his bottles and in my limited experience, they just don't come up for auction very often.
So I'm very proud of the two bottles I have.
This one is particularly fine. I believe it to be painted by Ye Zhongsan the elder and not his sons, the rock crystal has a rainbow inclusion (see second photo), and it is a continuous landscape - meaning the painting wraps around the sides.
I believe it depicts the Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove which you can read about here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_Sages_of_the_Bamboo_Grove
It is dated Chia-tzu which I believe translates to 1924 but the way it's written it could also correspond to 1894.
I feel very honored to have this bottle and think it will be one of my most treasured pieces.
can,t narrow it down , and i really digged deep, its real jiawu
imo this is an easy 4 figures
