This little Loetz vase is 4" tall by 3" in diameter, and is in Loetz's 'Orpheus' decor. It consists of a Candia ground, with applied blue 'nipple' prunts and rim. To me, the lines of the vase really exemplify Art Nouveau form - sensuous and sinuous.
I have wanted an example of Orpheus for a long time, and so am very pleased to be able to add this to my collection.
super addition to your collection Michelle the vessel looks so soft & smooth
Thanks so much, Malkey - it is silky to the touch! :)

Congrats on a beautiful piece Michelle! You're so right about the clean lines, and what really puts it over the top for me, are those wonderful, contrasting prunts!
