    This was either my mother's or grandmother's vase. I remember as a kids always seeing it in the house, fascinated by the almost dew-like appearance of the raised gold. It may be dated (what some might call "gaudy" or "passé"), but I like it. I think it's timeless.

      I learned about Weep-Bright Gold earlier this year from another CW'er after posting a 1956 Jim Beam Bourbon decanter: http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/190387-jim-beam-bourbon-decanter-part-2--roy ... I agree with Efesgirl; it's not gaudy.
