It's a old Chapman lamp made in Spain Ive had a long time and just cleaned it up and put it back out.It had a unique looking large rectangle shade that's long gone so I put this one on it.Based on the light fixtures and shape of what's left of the underwriters laboratory sticker I think it's from the 1950's but I'm not sure.It still works. The railing and finial are brass and the pigs which are a candleholder are solid bronze not made to look like bronze over brass that are really well cast..I'm not sure what kind of wood this is.The original shade that was on this really set it off and I'm going to have one made if I decide to leave it out.
the wood looks like mahogany to me.
Thanks ho2cultcha.I picked up a book with different wood grains to compare it to any you were right on target. Thanks again.
