Above are four items from my collection of approximately 1000+ original sixties rock concert and blacklight posters. On the left is BG105-OP-1, a very rare Bill Graham production of Jimi Hendrix and John Mayall at the Fillmore West and Winterland on February 1, 1968. Artwork by Rick Griffin. Next is a Grateful Dead piece from the Family Dog series labeled FD26-RP2. This poster advertised a show at the Avalon Ballroom on September 16, 1966, and the artists were Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley. 2nd from right is a 1967 blacklight poster entitled "Mr. Experience" by Pandora Productions, and the artists were Myers/Johansen lll. Finally, on the right is a piece distributed by the National Mental Health Association, and the inscription reads: "Will they turn you on, or will they turn on you?" Various names of drugs commonly used at the time are scattered throughout this blacklight poster. The complete collection can be viewed at http://houstonfreeburgcollection.com

Hi Steve.
Fascinating artist, but, alas, I know of no sources other than his website. Thanks, HF
This is the only place on the web I was able to find a picture of the Mental Health Drug poster you have up here, I have a copy that my father had laying around in his workshop, I recently framed it, its in great condition. Do you know who its by? Also how much is one of these worth?
Hi Steve.
The only info I have on the poster is what is written in small print at the bottom. I would guestimate the value of one in decent condition to be around $100. Hope this helps. HF
Great stuff!!!
