This is an original Silk postcard watercolor painting of the Old Castle Wakayama kii Peking China, WWII era, with original era stamp.
This Spanish traveler has signed his name.
I can't make it out though.
This is an International postcard, Carte Postale....Postcard, there are a few other titles in other languages, french, english, german, spanish, and (?) at the back top middle. While this may be addressed to an address in Pekin (Beijing) China the photo on the postcard is of a Castle in Japan. Chinese names usually have 4 or fewer letters. Japanese names are much longer. Wakayama is a prefecture in Japan. This castle is by the river Kii in Wakayama prefecture. The stamp looks to be in Chinese. There is a # 3 on the stamp and the last word looks like post (age?). The addressee, the writing on the back, looks to be to be in French, "Monsieur Lachin, Land Office, a Pekin China with a signature Lachin(?) just my guess on the inscription. On the far right is a line a chinese calligraphy and above that is a place to put a postage stamp. This is a divided back postcard that would date it between 1907 and 1914 - of course that was just when the card was printed and not mailed.
