    Hello Community!

    I recently acquired this awesome sculpture at an Estate Sale here in Palm Springs.
    It is signed on the side base "Heide 3-4" or possibly "Reide 3-4"
    Sculpture is made from a very heavy stoneware type material.
    Approx a foot and a half tall.
    It looks to me like a mermaid by the base of it but I just don't know.
    ANY info you can give me on this is Greatly Appreciated!

      I think it says Neide, and I agree that it is a mermaid. When I googled the name, it seems to be Brazilian in origin, but didn’t really see similar pieces expect an old eBay listing, a woman feeding chickens, which had expired so couldn’t see the signature
