This 9" cranberry opalescent pitcher has been in the family for a long time. It has a ruffled top, a clear handle and pontil. There are other pieces where the white lines are a swirl but I can not identify any ribbed or striped like this. Is it Fenton? And does anyone know the pattern name and value? Thanks.

Could the swirled ribbed glass pieces be by NORTHWOOD , like the Chrysanthemum Lidded Straw or Pickle Jars ; the cranberry & opaque glass ribbed pattern is very similar. Your pitcher is lovely !

      It is Northwood Stripe.
Note the base without ground pontil, a Northwood bottom finish and the typical Northwood star crimp. If you note the rib, you will see the same pattern in rubina, without the opal. It has an entire line from cruet, to shakers, barber bottles a whisky bottle as well i believe. They are not rare for Northwood, but pre-pressed glass Northwood is never cheap.

gcblues thank you so much for that info! I believe this piece was originally my grandmothers, passed to my mom and passed to me. I think it is beautiful!

Although called "Aurora" ringneck Rubina most people just call it ringneck. The mold was used in EAPG blown Northwood in almost every type of item. i would not be surprised to see rubina verde in the same mold. here it is in a toothpick, nte the ring. Your bottom and star crimp were Northwood patented and the star crimp in any pattern has not been reproduced. https://www.google.com.ni/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fd2ydh70d4b5xgv.cloudfront.net%2Fimages%2F4%2F4%2Feapg-northwood-glass-works-aurora-ring-neck-rubina-2-1-8-toothpick-1890-e93f0c3bad951e160d05d6498399b031.jpg&imgrefurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.terapeak.com%2Fworth%2Feapg-northwood-glass-works-aurora-ring-neck-rubina-2-1-8-toothpick-1890%2F351651241122%2F&docid=6iB6PXyAim5n8M&tbnid=Ts4Oeon1fCa0ZM%3A&vet=10ahUKEwiNko_X3-fYAhXL6lMKHbO-C3g4ZBAzCFMoUTBR..i&w=465&h=500&itg=1&bih=974&biw=1920&q=Northwood%20rubina%20ringneck%20pitcher&ved=0ahUKEwiNko_X3-fYAhXL6lMKHbO-C3g4ZBAzCFMoUTBR&iact=mrc&uact=8
