My Mother received this lamp when her Aunt died, as a little girl my Mom had always loved this lamp & would ask her Aunt if she could have it when she died & she left it to her. The only thing she knows is my Aunt received it as a gift when she married around 1910. Any idea on who made it and or value? I checked & don't find any signatures there is a green felt on bottom of lamp. Any info or suggestions on how to find more info would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Tammy

If you check the book, Electric Lighting of the 20's & 30's Volume 2, they have a reprint of the Empire Lamp Co. catalogue. Your lamp shade is on page 13, but on a different base. Your base is on page 14 and I like your base with this shade better. Empire Lamp Co. was in Chicago, IL. Your lamp is ca 1910-1920. Value is based on rarity and condition. Go to http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/5673793 to see one at auction that sold for $325.00. I think it went cheap, I sold similar for $1,200.00 at auction. Hope that helps.
