Thought I'd share this ashtray I bought 6-8 years ago from a thrift store.
I think I paid too much at that time, but would not hesitate to pay the same 6.00 today, as I've never come across another one with the original glass ashtray.
Well, isn't that neat! I love it.
These two items just don't go together anymore. This is from when smoking was cool.....and healthy, imagine that!
the glass is Hazel-Atlas sometimes called 'Fluted', and available in nesting sets of several sizes.

I bought this in a thrift store nearly 10 years ago and struggled real hard with forking over 6.00usd for this. But these are not items you'd find together these days. And I've not seen another one since, as I believe the ashtray to be original to the piece.
