    These are 2 more of my Shakudo Panels. The Japanese loved their nature and birds are very prominent in Shakudo and in general their art work. These are slightly bigger than the first posting, they measure 2.6 cm in diameter. I can never get over the workmanship of Shakudo. It must have taken many hours, weeks to accomplish these beautiful items.

      Hi apostata,

      I think these Shakudo panels are from the Meiji era which would mean they could be Victorian or Edwardian. The dates of the Meiji period was 25th January 1868 until the 30th July 1912.
