Living here at the Atlantic Coast, mermaids are a popular icon, it is even the mascot of the City of Norfolk. Here is a nice example of a Van Briggle pottery "Lorelei" vase in classic Ming Turquoise glaze. She stands about 11" tall and is about 4" in diameter. Properly marked on the base.
