      Hi,

You have a very nice teak chair. However, it could really use some teak oil. It looks extremely dried out. It you google 'How to Oil Teak', there are many useful articles to help.

It can get very damaged if you don't take care of it. Leave it in its current state, if someone does come along and shed some light on it, there wont be a piece of gleaming teak furniture.

Thank you gillian. Yes this teak chair was vèy dried out from yrs of neglect, but I plan to bring it back to life. I am in the process of fully restoring this very cool chair.

Gillian has the right idea for sure. Look up Morris chairs too. It's a little different than the Morris chairs I've seen but it's very similar...bet it is one. And wow, it sure was thirsty.

I have one! I'm not sure how to upload a pic on here, but I have this chair, with the cushions....it had a matching couch at one point, but got lost over the years. I found mine at an estate sale about 12 years ago. Still one of my favorite pieces, super comfortable!
