Found this piece in a tractor barn. Both legs were broke off and most of the joints were loose or disconnected. I completely restored the chair, and was able to reattach the legs seemlessly. The chair is made of teak, and once had an upholstered cushion, but I have no clue what the cushion looked like, or if it was a seat and back cushion or just seat. The only markings on the chair is a date stamp underneath of Mar 19 1957 in bold black letters. Any info of maker, value, or any history at all would be greatly appreciated.
Sweet. We had one, in fact my brother still has it out-of-town. I will look later on in some pics to see if I can find it in some old pics
Ours was 2 separates cushions and have shiny and mat Brown Tone STRIPS on it that had a zipper on the back sides to get into the foam. Again, will hunt around later to see if I can find some old pics of it.
Oh and the cushion has the strip material on top and back while the edges had a flat solid brown color of some material that had a bit of texture on it.
