My second piece of Loetz "Empire" Decor in my collection. Empire is Texas decor with the addition of festoons. This one is a vase with a yellow ground and draped with iridescent textured silver/gold swags, and adorned with 3 balls. The glass is highly UV reactive and glows brightly under UV light.
It's 7" tall. 2.75" across base. 3.5" across widest width. Fire polished rim with a ground and polished pontil. PN II-2581. Circa 1905.
