Original 1960s J.C. Penney's PETER MAX FABRIC Store Display

Picked up earlier in 2016, this is a rare original 1960's J.C. Penney's PETER MAX FABRIC Store Display from about 1968. The individual Peter Max fabric panels are about 23" x 20.5" wide - plus header. Purchased on a well known internet auction site, yes them, love it - but - lesson to be learned was the first panel with it's iconic fabric was shown in a blurry photograph while the others were pretty clear with bright color and contrast. I MAY have assumed that the first panel is the same as those and just a bad photo but as you guessed ~ Bingo! - I take it out of the package and know immediately why - it was a little faded. Disappointed but I had already bought a custom size wide rough hewn orange wooden frame for it - couldn't return the frame so what did i do? Framed an interior panel with the previous panel covering the header and well, looks sharp!
