I bought this necklace some time a month ago, and i am puzzled about it's material. It is about 250 gr in weight. The toggle (probably silver ) had some writings but is unreadable. My girlfriend loves it and that is not a mystery.

The photos aren't very clear but i think is some kind of plastic. But the necklace feels heavy. The cracks i think were made from heat and then was dyed.
