To me it looks very similar to Berg Austrian toys. The plastic eyes are the same. I have two berg Lions with the same face expression. I didn't found any steiff with those eyes. All the best and enjoy.
You are right it is in her style, but she marks her work differently. Interesting designs. First time i hear about Gabrielle Gould. Thank you magpiedreams.

The photos aren't very clear but i think is some kind of plastic. But the necklace feels heavy. The cracks i think were made from heat and then was dyed.
