A lot of Penn reels are collectible. I'm not that informed but maybe you could check out Ebay for more info? I'll ask my son. He is an addicted fisherman!

after looking at it for a while i am not 100 percent sure about this but i am almost positive that you have a penn 160. it was originally called the "beachmaster" anywhere from 1920-1940. then in the 1950's Penn decided to put reels in named series with similar reels, and the beachmaster series was made featuring the 155, 160 and 165 models.

My husband went to a rummage sale this lady in her eighties sold him her husbands old fishing sled inside he found this ice fishing reel . I seen it in the collectable section It was a periscoping one with a black & white handle plastic handle on the end of a cork pole & black plasticrod part. It is called a Still Fish Reel made in Toledo Ohio. Was wondering if this was a collectable fish pole?
