Fun, Fun, Fun....These weremade from approxiamately 1970 - 1989 in this exact style of production in Mexico. Mexico was making tons of colored glass and entered the U.S. lamp market to underprice manufacturers here in the states. It worked and they made most that you see in this style. The lumpy glass, way they enveloped the glass in the metal and soldered are key ways to tell Mexican lamps. Rather quality work as they mimic domestic lamp makers. Today almost all are made in china of inferior glass and construction quality. They ranged originally in price from $50 - $500 depending on style, base, glass used, etc.

Sorry junkmanjoe, if I at all come across as a know it all. Just I have collected for so many years and my parents and grandparents collected. I was taken to Antique stores from nearly the moment I came into this world. Just seems we have a bit similar taste and wares around in our lives.
