Bought at an auction would like to know more about this please? It is a beautiful vase/tomb pot? I tried to figure out the markings I thought they may be Fukagawa but not real sure.Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
quite new mark is kangxi
I hope you didn't sell it....it looks like it may have some age on it...although I know that people can be quite creative with aging reproductions to make them look like a antique....but to be on the safe side....maybe send a video to Dr.Lori....she can shed some light on the age of your vase
Dr lori is commercial advise i believe and this is not an old glazing, but cute vase
that's the first time i've heard someone say something positive about Dr. Lori. i've seen a couple shows and wasn't too impressed. apostata here really knows his Chinese pottery, i've come to learn myself.
there are a lot of reasons this is quite new, the noir glazing the watering mark etc
simple rule the mid sektion under in the mark got 4 dots, then it never could be old , that,s all you have to remenber !!!!
